ADEXCO
Cookie policy
This translation is provided for information only; the French version prevails.
1. What is a cookie?
A cookie is a small text file, pixel or tracker placed and stored on your device (computer, tablet or smartphone) when you visit a website. It allows its issuer to identify the device on which it is stored and to collect information about your browsing for the duration of the cookie’s validity.
2. Which cookies are used on the ADEXCO website?
The ADEXCO website limits the use of trackers to what is strictly necessary. The cookies on our website fall into two distinct categories:
- Essential technical cookies: these cookies are strictly necessary for the website to work and do not require your prior consent. The website uses two of them: adexco_consent, which stores your cookie choices for 6 months, and pll_language, which remembers the website language you have chosen. The contact form does not place any cookie: its protection against automated submissions and spam works without cookies and without any third-party service. It can therefore be used even if you refuse all cookies.
- Third-party service and social network cookies: to enrich your experience and help you find or follow us, our website includes scripts published by third-party platforms. These may place cookies on your browser:
- Google Maps (map): this third-party service places cookies required to display the interactive map, remember your zoom preferences or calculate your route to our offices.
- LinkedIn (social network): the direct link to our firm’s professional profile interacts with LinkedIn. Third-party trackers are used by the platform to identify whether you have an active account and to analyse your interaction with our link.
3. Obtaining your consent
In accordance with CNIL guidelines and the GDPR, no third-party cookie (Google Maps or LinkedIn) is placed on your device without your explicit consent.
On your first visit to the ADEXCO website, an information banner is displayed. It allows you to:
- Accept all: all services (map and social networks) will work normally.
- Refuse all: no non-essential cookie will be placed. Please note that in this case the Google Maps map cannot be displayed and the LinkedIn link may be restricted.
- Customise your choices: you can enable or disable each service independently.
4. How can you change your preferences at any time?
Your choice is not final. You can withdraw your consent or change your cookie preferences at any time by clicking the Manage cookies link, always available at the bottom of our website (footer).
You can also set your web browser to block all cookies. Here is where to find the settings in the main browsers:
- Google Chrome: Settings > Privacy and security > Cookies and other site data.
- Mozilla Firefox: Settings > Privacy & Security > Enhanced Tracking Protection.
- Safari: Settings > Safari > Privacy & Security.
- Microsoft Edge: Settings > Site permissions > Cookies and site data.
5. How long your choices are kept
Your preferences (acceptance or refusal) are stored for the regulatory period of 6 months. After this period, the consent banner will automatically reappear so that you can express your choice again.
